Often strung in a specific colour order from left to right - blue, white, red, green, yellow. Prayer Flags are often seen across mountain ridges in the Himalayas to bless the surrounding countryside where it is believed prayers will be spread by the wind and bless far and wide. In Western culture they have become popular in recent years and are often seen strung from trees or tents at music festivals and are used at celebrations and parties.
