Palo Santo – Holy Wood – grown in the drier regions of South America and used in Ecuador and Peru to repel mosquitos and as an atmospheric soother for chest troubles (not to be taken internally). The tree is related to Frankincense and Myrrh and may invoke similar sensations of entering into a sacred site. Palo Santo incense is widely considered to have mystical qualities that help keep energies clear and vibrating at a higher level.
Palo Santo incense is used to create an uplifting atmosphere and to promote meditative states. It is easy to see why simply by breathing in the scent which is a delightful mix of mint, citrus and frankincense notes.

How To Use
Use a fireproof container and place on a heatproof surface. Place a charcoal tablet in your container. Light the charcoal at one edge and allow to smoulder. Blow out any flame. Sprinkle a little of your Palo Santo incense mix onto the charcoal and allow to smoulder and release its fragrance into the surrounding atmosphere. Attention! Charcoal becomes extremely hot and your container may become hot. Do not touch until completely cooled down.
